Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Pat Brady started submitting strips to newspapers at age 11. He studied art and creative writing at the University of Wisconsin, graduating in 1969. Nominated in 1997, 1998, and 1999 for the Reuben Award for Outstanding Cartoonist of the Year by the National Cartoonists Society, Brady lives in the Midwest.
