Omschrijving

The history of the Earth and that of the Annunaki are intertwined. The ancient Sumerians speak of a race of aliens from the planet Niburu, other tales tell of how a wandering planet collided with a giant planet Tiamat giving rise to the Earth. Other stories relate how the Annunaki created mankind to serve them. In the beginning mankind had no set life-span, and the population could only be controlled by fire, flood, or pestilence. During the final deluge the Annunaki (the Gods) wept at the suffering of mankind and gave man a set lifespan. It was during the great deluge that Ziusundra (Noah) survived on the Ark, a story that lies in the Atra-Hasis, the Epic of Gilgamesh and the Bible. The tales surrounding the Annunaki are inconsistent, conflicting and often little more than myth. The first book in the series tells, in ten inter-related stories that date from their earliest intervention on Earth. The Annunaki gifted our hominid ancestors with greater brain power and enhanced communication skills that, in turn, enabled our societies to thrive and develop over time. The novel visits many of the key events related to the Annunaki intervention as time passes. One notable event is the subject of the second novel in the series. In the late summer of 1834, a schooner fleeing the potato famine in Ireland beaches itself on the east coast of America. On board the crew and passenger are all dead; they have killed each other in a battle on-board. The ship and its dead cargo are sensed by Mary, an adolescent child who, in turn, is possessed by the presence that stalks the ship. On her death, the "miasma", the essence of the combined hatred of the Druids against the Romans following their final battle with Suetonius Paullinus, the Roman general responsible for the bloody annihilation of the Druids on the sacred isle of Anglesey many centuries before, exudes from her body and is released into an unprepared America.A blend of historical fiction, horror, and adult fantasy, The Revenge of the Druids, follows the events as they occur as the Druids set out to reek revenge on the Romans, bringing fear and terror to America in a way never imagined before. The third book in the series "Deep State" is set during the presidency of Barack Obama. A scientist and researcher analyzing DNA sequencing discovers that at some time in the distant past 'synthetic' DNA has been added to human DNA. Fearing that his discovery will be suppressed by the Deep State he searches out for an investigative journalist to put his information in the public domain, and in doing so sets in motion a chain of events will shake both Washington D.C and the world to it's very foundations. The repercussions are endless as the existence of aliens is finally revealed along with the exposure of a long-term international and governmental cover-up. The fourth novel is based on the annals of the ancients that tell of the return of the Annunaki in the year 2022. Upon their return they evaluate the human race from within the solar system to see how we have developed as a species and how we have treated our planet. Their primary concern is the well being of the planet and they look as to whether mankind and the planet can exist in harmony. The human race teeters on the bring of extermination as they decide our fate. The fifth novel is the reckoning.
Apologies from the author. I have released Armageddon, the sixth book in the series but it is too big to be published as a paperback but is available on Kindle books 1 - 6.
