War has always been a part of the lives of humans; creating many warriors, soldiers, chiefs and commanders, but only a few of them have shown so brightly in deed and character as to be revered by even those brothers in arms who felt honored to serve with them. Men who went above and beyond the call of duty to, not only save the lives of those with them, but turn the very outcomes of battles. Men who motivated and inspired their fellow soldiers to a victory in the face of asured defeat. Men who lead the seemingly hopeless charge with a battle cry so fierce it reinvigorated bedraggled soliders to such a degree that the enemy fled before them. Great men who accomplished the impossible; sometimes even disobeying orders and bending rules to ensure the safety of their allies and the defeat of their enemies. Men who were hornored with the highest awards and deserve to never be forgotten, because their actions in life impacted so many others and, in some cases, changed the very course of history. This series intends to share their tales and help ensure these admirable American Heros are never forgotten.
