These eighteen stories are either set in the south, or the characters are southerners... or not. A few of the stories might be described as Southern Gothic. One outright horror story. Others might be sweeter than molasses.

A "meet-cute" at a speed-dating event might follow a story about a persistent suitor who just won't die. Memories and grief may bring tears or smiles. Rusted old cars bring memories and grief. Sometimes reuniting the head with the body just doesn't help a bit.
