Pam shook her head. “This is brainstorming. No idea is off limits. We might not agree to it, but considering it will have no repercussions.”

“We’ll see about that. You need to find an option that doesn’t have a big price tag. That means you need a surrogate mother willing to make a baby the old fashioned way.”

The older woman snorted. “That option has already been considered. Neither one of us knows any woman we think would be quite that involved in the fertilization process.”

Leslie felt her eyebrows rise. “You’d actually consider letting Mark have sex with another woman? Especially since that would probably take a number of tries?”

“If I was present, then yes. I might get a little jealous, but if I’m part of the process, maybe not. In any case, it might come down to that.”
