Bella is the victim of cruel experiments by the Lycarn. She is tried and sentenced for killing a Lycarn. Her punishment--exile from Earth. Later she meets up with Darke and his mother, Harmony. When the team Darke has put together to track his father lands on a seemingly uninhabited planet following the lead Darke has, Darke and Bella have more to battle than their potentially fatal attraction to one another. There are creatures here who will not take their invasion lightly. And was the dragon shape-shifter Bella encountered really one of the golden dragons from Orochi's group? If so, why doesn't he look like a Drelconian, and where are the others? Darke is trying to protect everyone, but finds it hardest to protect himself from the lust that consumes him for Bella Donna.
